Plenty of NYC nights play the hits. Nobody’s doing what we do: an interactive 90s & 00s hip‑hop and R&B throwback party with a Hype Emcee, a real DJ rig, three music rounds, and premium prize loot. The DJ spins 30‑to‑60 second clips, your crew locks in the titles on custom 5×5 song cards, and the first to five in a row shouts “THAT’S BANGIN’!”

We bring the show to the city all the time. Manhattan Financial District office happy hours, Brooklyn rooftop bachelorette parties, Queens milestone birthdays, Bronx block parties. If you have a venue and 15+ people, we bring the whole night.

Public nights run at Lake Chateau Banquets in Woodbridge, NJ, our flagship room — 45 minutes from Midtown via the Turnpike. Strictly 30 & Up, $35 a ticket, and a straight shot for anyone who wants to feel the energy before booking.

• Rooftop bars — Brooklyn, LES, Midtown. Sound levels usually work; check with the venue about DJ setup.
• Office event spaces — Midtown / FiDi corporate happy hours are our most-booked NYC format. Client sends the guest list, we handle everything else.
• Restaurant private rooms — back rooms in Chinatown, LES, Williamsburg. We coordinate music levels with the venue in advance.
• Warehouse spaces — Greenpoint, Bushwick, LIC studio spaces for 100+ person events.
• Hotel event rooms — if the wedding’s at a Manhattan hotel, we throw the bachelorette in the same building the night before.
• Home / townhouse — Park Slope brownstones, UWS apartments with roof access. 15–30 people range.

Every NYC takeover is quoted to your room, your headcount, and your night. Here’s how it works:

• All five boroughs sit inside our standard travel area (within 50 miles of NYC)
• Further out? We add simple travel fees based on distance
• A 50% deposit holds your date

• Do you throw public throwback parties in NYC?

  Public nights run at our flagship room, Lake Chateau Banquets in Woodbridge, NJ, about 45 minutes from Midtown. New tour dates are dropping soon, and every public date lives on the tour dates page. In the city, we throw private takeovers in all five boroughs.

• Which boroughs do you serve?

  All five. Manhattan and Brooklyn are highest volume. Queens, Bronx, and Staten Island bookings all get quoted, with extra time for load-in factored in.

• Do you handle noise ordinances / venue coordination?

  Yes. We coordinate with the venue on sound levels and any city noise ordinance rules before the event. That’s built into our setup checklist.

• Can you do all-Beyoncé / all-Jay-Z / era-specific NYC nights?

  Yes. That’s the point of a custom throwback playlist. Tell us the theme and we build the night’s 60-song music pool around it.

• Load-in / setup time?

  30 minutes typically. Rooftops and walk-up buildings add 15 to 30 minutes. We plan around your event start time.

• Do you provide liquor / catering?

  No. That’s your venue’s job. We bring the show: host, DJ, sound, song cards, and prize loot.
