Sunday Day Party in NJ: 90s & 00s Hip‑Hop & R&B
Brunch energy, throwback anthems, home at a decent hour. Bangin’ & Beats™ brings the interactive throwback party to Sunday afternoons in New Jersey — hip‑hop and R&B, prize loot, dance battles, strictly 30 & Up.
The Sunday Format
Why a Sunday day party hits different.
Saturday nights are crowded. Sunday afternoons are the move. Brunch energy that stretches into the golden hour, a room full of grown folks who know every lyric, and you’re on the dance floor by round two. About three hours from doors to last call, and you’re still home at a decent hour.
The blueprint is the same as our Friday and Saturday nights: the DJ drops 30‑to‑60 second clips of 90s and 00s hip‑hop and R&B throwbacks, you mark the squares on your song card, and five in a row gets you on your feet shouting “THAT’S BANGIN’!” Premium prize loot every round. Three rounds. Dance battles and lip‑sync showdowns between.
Sunday works for parents, for folks who clock in Monday morning, and for anyone who’s tired of Sunday dinner being the only plan.
What Sunday Looks Like
Doors to last call in about three hours.
- Doors open. You get your song card at the door, take your table, and get a drink in your hand. Kick off your Sunday like you mean it.
- The show starts. The Hype Emcee warms up the room and DJ Tameil settles into the first set. Round one drops soon after.
- Three interactive music rounds. Fresh song card every round, with dance battles, lip‑sync showdowns, and sing‑alongs in between. Premium prize loot at every round.
- Mainstage dance battle to close. The card game wraps, the floor opens up, and the night ends on the mainstage dance battle. Some people head to dinner. Some people stay until last call.

Why Sunday Works
Who this day party is actually for.
- Parents who need to be home for the sitter — in and out in about three hours.
- People who work Monday morning — a full night out that doesn’t ruin the week.
- The brunch‑then‑something crew — start at brunch, roll into the throwback party, home by dinner.
- Long‑weekend visitors — Friday and Saturday are for the wedding / concert / event you flew in for. Sunday afternoon is when your friends actually want to hang.
- People who like to keep it light — daytime energy, no pressure to go hard, all the fun.
